Oortfolio Retirement
Oortfolio was launched as a standalone casualty portfolio modeling tool in 2015 allowing users to upload casualty books and interact with deterministic scenario and probabilistic loss output. Several years ago, we decided that a single platform would better facilitate the full range of casualty’s emerging risk use cases and that CoMeta should be that platform. With the migration of Oortfolio’s exposure management capabilities to CoMeta complete, it is now time to bid a fond farewell to the original home of the world’s first science-based liability catastrophe model. Oortfolio has performed admirably for seven years completing thousands of portfolio analyses and awakening casualty to the benefits of employing a rigorous approach to quantifying emerging risk.

All portfolios previously uploaded through Oortfolio along with associated output can now be found in CoMeta’s Exposure Management feature.
