Portfolio upload
Server and software upgrades supporting CoMeta’s portfolio upload and exposure management features have enabled a significant increase in the size of casualty portfolios that users can analyze. Users can now upload portfolios using the portfolio upload template with as many as 1,050,000 policy rows (the current limit to the number of rows that can be entered in an Excel spreadsheet). Depending on the composition of insureds within the portfolio, the upload process may take as many as four hours to complete for portfolios of this size. The initial validation process during which users are notified of template errors should complete within one hour. ELT generation (available upon request) may also take several hours to complete and files sizes within the ELT could exceed several gigabytes.
