Julie Menken

Julie Menken is the Director, Insurance Partnerships & Senior Actuary at Praedicat. Prior to Praedicat, Julie worked at Safepoint Insurance as an Actuarial Manager and Lead Actuary. In addition to property CAT Modeling at Safepoint, Julie has experience in Medical Malpractice, Commercial Multi-Peril, Warranty, and Workers’ Compensation lines of business through her career at CNA Insurance. Julie received her B.A. in Mathematics & Statistics with a minor in Psychology from Georgetown University. She is also an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). Beyond actuarial work, Julie is a photographer and multimedia artist, a meditation and aikido practitioner, trained yoga teacher, and amateur soap maker. Through her creative, professional, and personal development work Julie brings a varied perspective to casualty CAT modeling at Praedicat.
